Pushmataha County Release Records
A release from Pushmataha County Jail ends one local custody episode. It does not always mean the person walked into the community. The exit may follow bond, recognizance, dismissal, time served, a suspended sentence, or another court order. It can also be a transfer to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, another county, the U.S. Marshals Service, or immigration custody. The Pushmataha County release record must identify the date or manner of discharge. The receiving authority matters as much as the time.
Three records answer three different questions. A booking record shows entry into the jail. A court disposition explains the legal result. A discharge or release entry records the end of custody by that agency. Those dates may not match. A court can authorize bond before jail staff finish a hold check, and a person can leave the county jail for ODOC without becoming free. Reliable work follows the person from one custodian to the next.
- Time served
- Custody credited toward or completing the court-ordered term.
- Parole
- Conditional release from state prison while the sentence continues under supervision.
- Probation
- Court-ordered community supervision, often tied to a suspended or deferred sentence.
- Discharge
- Completion of the sentence or supervision with no further ODOC obligation on it.
- Detainer
- A request or legal basis for another authority to take or keep custody.
Pushmataha County Release Types
The manner of release tells a searcher which official source should come next. County jail staff and the court document local bond, dismissal, sentence, and time-served events. ODOC records state transfers and later prison releases. The Pardon and Parole Board records its action, while ODOC records the actual custody and supervision change. Federal and immigration systems maintain their own events.
| Release type | Meaning | Next record |
|---|---|---|
| Bond or recognizance | Local custody ends while the case may continue. | Sheriff release entry and court order |
| Time served | The custodial portion is credited or complete. | Judgment, calculation, and release entry |
| Dismissal | A charge or case ended, subject to other holds. | Filed dismissal and jail confirmation |
| Probation | A court imposes community supervision. | Judgment and supervising office |
| Parole | State imprisonment becomes conditional community release. | Board action, ODOC status, and P&P |
| Transfer | Custody moves to another authority. | Sending and receiving agency records |
| Discharge | The state sentence or supervision is complete. | ODOC certificate or closed record |
An escape, absconding status, or death also ends ordinary physical presence, but none is a community release. The statutory register distinguishes discharge from escape. A fugitive result means the person is wanted, not discharged.
Pushmataha County Release Record Fields
Oklahoma law gives the local inquiry a durable starting point. The jail register required by 57 O.S. §48 records each prisoner's name, commitment date, cause and authority, a description in a criminal matter, and the date or manner of discharge or escape. A separate booking or release sheet may hold more detail. Ask for existing fields rather than asking the sheriff to create a custom report.
- Full name, aliases, and booking number
- Identity and the correct admission among similar names.
- Commitment date, cause, and authority
- When and why the jail accepted custody.
- Arresting agency, charges, and case
- The related law-enforcement and court file.
- Bond and holds
- Conditions that could affect physical release.
- Release date, time, type, and authority
- When county custody ended and the basis for the exit.
- Destination or receiving agency
- Whether another custodian took the person.
- Booking photograph
- Identification at booking, if maintained and open.
A photo does not prove release, guilt, or current status. A court docket may show why release was authorized, but it may omit the time when jail processing ended. The discharge field and receiving-agency information close that gap.
Request Pushmataha County Release Records
The Pushmataha County Sheriff's Office has no verified public request form, request email, office-hour schedule, or local fee schedule. Start by calling the office to learn its accepted delivery channel, inspection hours, custodian name, and estimated charge. Keep the request narrow. A named person, identifier, and date range make it easier to locate an existing jail-register entry.
- Identify the person by full name, aliases, date of birth or booking number, and an approximate booking range.
- Ask for the §48 jail-register entry, including commitment information and the date or manner of discharge.
- Request any existing booking and release sheet, bond or hold fields, release authority, destination, and booking photo if maintained and nonexempt.
- Ask for electronic delivery and an estimate before copies are made. Request the legal basis for any withheld part.
- Match the result to the court case and any receiving agency before describing the exit as release to the community.

State law generally caps ordinary letter-size copies at $0.25 per page and certified copies at $1, but the sheriff's actual schedule was not located. Search fees are limited by the Open Records Act. Confirm charges with the custodian before ordering.
Pushmataha County Release Record Law
51 O.S. §24A.8 lists open law-enforcement information and includes jail-register material. Oklahoma Attorney General Opinion 95-48 connects booking and jail-blotter discharge information with public access. Section 57-48 separately requires the original register to be preserved and passed to a successor sheriff. That preservation rule is important in Pushmataha County because no public historic jail archive or release feed was verified.
The law supports access to existing release fields, but it does not require a custom 24-hour report or public web roster.
Limits still apply. Juvenile, privileged, confidential, and properly sealed material does not become public through a broad request. An agency can redact exempt portions and release the parts that remain open. ODOC also treats a particular inmate's exact future release date as confidential to a general requester, so a projected date is not the same as a completed release record.
Pushmataha County Sealed Release Records
Oklahoma's 22 O.S. §18 contains detailed eligibility categories for sealing criminal and related public civil records. Eligibility turns on the case outcome, offense, age, conviction history, and other facts in the applicable paragraph. There is no single waiting period that fits every Pushmataha County release record.
Section 19 governs the petition, notice, hearing, and order. The order controls which agencies and records are covered. A fully sealed matter is generally unavailable to the public, subject to statutory exceptions. A partial seal can preserve law-enforcement access while blocking public access. Neither result proves that every copy previously obtained by another party has vanished.
Do not rebuild a sealed event from name-only fragments. When an online disposition is wrong or incomplete, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation directs a person to obtain the certified final disposition from the county clerk and use its disposition-correction process.
Find Pushmataha County Released Inmates
A successful Pushmataha County released inmate search begins with the last known custodian. The county jail controls the local physical exit. VINE can report a custody event. The court explains legal authority. ODOC covers people admitted to state custody or supervision. BOP, ICE, and USMS routes apply only when facts support federal involvement.
- Gather the full name, aliases, date of birth, booking number, case number, and approximate dates that are already known.
- Call the Pushmataha County Sheriff's Office. Ask whether the person is currently held, then ask for the date and manner of discharge and any receiving agency.
- Search the exact person in OK VINE and match the reporting agency and identifiers. Read the event as displayed.
- Check OSCN and ODCR for the Pushmataha case, including bond, dismissal, judgment, credit, revocation, and sealing events.
- Use ODOC only if the person entered state custody or supervision. Check Board and P&P sources when parole or probation is involved.
- Use BOP or ICE only for the matching federal or immigration custody path. If screens are silent, request the underlying agency record.
A missing roster name proves only that the person is not shown there; it does not distinguish release, transfer, error, or another hold.
For a same-day county inquiry, the Pushmataha County 24-Hour Releases route focuses on the sheriff, VINE, and a narrow register request. Older county stays should rely more heavily on the preserved jail register and certified court files.
ODOC Pushmataha Release Search
The Oklahoma Department of Corrections Offender Lookup covers people in ODOC corrections data. It is not a complete list of county-only detainees. Search by exact name or ODOC number, then compare the image, physical description, conviction county, case, offense, and sentence rows. A missing hit is not proof of release because the live service warns that its records are abbreviated and may have data-source issues.
| Search field | Best use | Check before relying |
|---|---|---|
| ODOC number | Most direct identity match | Digits and person details |
| Name | Starting point without an ID | Aliases and similar names |
| Appearance | Narrowing a common name | Photo date and descriptors |
| County or court | Connecting a state sentence | Pushmataha case number |
| Sentence or offense | Separating multiple records | Term, statute, and conviction date |
The official lookup page shows its disclaimer before a search. The ODOC search screen illustrates why its own status wording must be preserved.
A completed discharge certificate or closed ODOC record is stronger evidence than an old future date. If the lookup is incomplete, request the Certificate of Release and related public record from ODOC Closed Records.
Pushmataha County Recent Release Records
No official Pushmataha County current roster, 24-hour release list, 72-hour release list, historic booking archive, release-photo feed, or county-branded sheriff app was verified as of the research date. The absence is a limit on the public website, not proof that the sheriff lacks internal electronic records. It also means there is no honest feed URL, field list, update schedule, or web-retention promise to publish.
The practical fallback is direct and local. Call the sheriff with a name and date range, check OK VINE for the same person, review the Pushmataha court case, and ask for the preserved jail-register entry. A social-media announcement is not a complete release log. A court-order timestamp is not necessarily the booking-room exit time.
Note: Online visibility can end while the statutory Pushmataha County release record remains preserved and requestable from the sheriff.
Pushmataha Release Court Records
OSCN and ODCR provide separate ways to search a Pushmataha criminal case. Review the parties, charges, bond events, warrants, filed orders, judgment, time-served credit, suspended or deferred term, dismissal, revocation, and later sealing. The docket can preserve context long after a name stops appearing in any current-custody view.
The online docket is not the certified record and does not establish the physical exit time. For a formal result, request the judgment, dismissal, bond order, or other named filing from Court Clerk Tina Freeman at the Pushmataha County Courthouse, 302 SW B Street, Antlers, OK 74523-3899, 580-298-2274, or tina.freeman@oscn.net. Pair that court result with the sheriff's §48 discharge entry.
The official OSCN search shows the county and case criteria used to narrow a result.
Matching the case number and person before opening filings reduces the risk of attaching another defendant's event to the release inquiry.
Pushmataha County Post-Release Supervision
Leaving jail or prison does not necessarily end a sentence. Parole follows state imprisonment and remains conditional. Probation comes from the court and may accompany a suspended or deferred sentence. The Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board publishes its decisions, while ODOC supervises parolees and many probationers. The Antlers Probation and Parole Office is the local navigation point for Pushmataha County.
Verify a Board action by name or ODOC number, then check actual ODOC status. “Parole To Street” is favorable authority, but processing may still be pending. “Parole To Detainer or Street” leaves the destination unresolved. A person outside prison can remain under P&P, and an absconder is not discharged. The Antlers office can route a local supervision question after identity is established.
Note: A completed discharge means no further ODOC duty on that sentence; parole and probation still carry active obligations.
Pushmataha Release Reentry Support
Choctaw Nation Reintegration is a locally relevant route for eligible adult Choctaw tribal members convicted of felonies and accepted through prescreening. Its listed help includes case management, referrals, treatment planning, mental-health consultation or referral, and emergency clothing or food aid. The program can be reached at 800-522-6170.
This service does not confirm a Pushmataha County Jail exit or replace an ODOC record. It belongs after release verification, when a qualified person is seeking practical navigation. Program eligibility and current services should be confirmed with Choctaw Nation.
Pushmataha Release ID Documents
ODOC policy adds a useful post-release distinction. Original identity documents kept in an ODOC record, such as a birth certificate, Social Security card, state identification, driver license, passport, military ID, or tribal ID, are to be returned in the discharge or reentry envelope. This is an ODOC policy point. It does not establish that Pushmataha County Jail follows the same document process.
Service Oklahoma's Antlers location at 1601 W Main provides a documented local licensing and identification route for eligible services. Check Service Oklahoma's requirements before travel. The office does not supply proof of release and should not be asked to reconstruct a jail record.
Pushmataha Release Board Actions
Oklahoma's monthly parole results place COUNTY, PE DATE, PRD, BOARD ACTION, docket, and case information together. A Pushmataha entry in the county field connects the conviction or case to Pushmataha County; it does not mean the person is housed in the county. PE DATE is parole eligibility. PRD is a projected release date. Neither is the actual completed release.
The Board action must be read exactly. A denial is not release, and passage to another stage is not a grant. A favorable action can still carry stipulations that must be completed in custody, conditions that begin after release, or a detainer that changes the destination. Confirm physical release through ODOC status and the Certificate of Release, then use P&P if supervision follows.
Pushmataha Release Notification Sources
OK VINE is a free and confidential custody-information service available statewide through VINELink, its app, or 1-877-654-8463. Search a specific person, match the reporting agency, and read the event exactly as displayed. A release or out-of-custody notice means the contributing agency ended its custody episode. It does not rule out a transfer or later supervision.
Federal cases use different sources. The BOP Inmate Locator can show a past federal release date and “Released” or “Not in BOP Custody,” but another authority or supervised release may remain. Federal pretrial detainees are often under USMS rather than BOP. ICE's locator covers current custody and, within its stated limits, recent ICE releases. A no-match in any one system is inconclusive.
Pushmataha Release and ICE Handoffs
An ICE detainer asks a jail for notice and for custody to continue for up to 48 hours beyond the time when local release would otherwise occur so federal immigration officers can assume custody. The Pushmataha County discharge entry can therefore show a transfer to ICE rather than a direct community release.
Search the ICE Online Detainee Locator System promptly when the sheriff identifies such a handoff. Use a nine-digit A-number when known, or the exact name with date and country of birth. ICE says the locator can cover people released from its custody within the last 60 days, but delays and security limits can produce no result. Keep the county handoff date and later ICE event separate.
Pushmataha Jail Release Address
A 2020 fire caused the sheriff to operate temporarily from Antlers Police, which can explain an old source showing temporary location context. That address should not guide a current release-record request. Current OACP and OBNDD directories corroborate the Pushmataha County Sheriff's Office and jail at 207 SW 3rd Street in Antlers.
Confirm the address and operating details before an in-person visit because no official records-office hours were found. The current directory number is the best first contact. Historical reporting can explain a conflict, but present official directories control routine navigation.
Compare Pushmataha Release Sources
Each system proves only the event created by its own agency. The strongest conclusion comes from matching identifiers and linking the end of one custody episode to the next verified status.
| Situation | Best source | Main limit |
|---|---|---|
| Current Pushmataha custody | Sheriff and OK VINE | No official web roster verified |
| Past county release | §48 register, release sheet, court | Court may not show exit time |
| State transfer or release | Sheriff plus ODOC | End of county custody may be transfer |
| Parole or probation | PPB, ODOC, court, Antlers P&P | Outside a facility does not mean discharge |
| Federal release | BOP and federal records | Another authority may still hold the person |
| Immigration custody | ICE ODLS and records | Negative result is not conclusive |
Is a court dismissal enough? No. It can remove one legal basis for custody, but other holds may remain and jail processing can continue. Confirm the actual discharge with the sheriff.
Pushmataha County Release Facility
Pushmataha County Jail is the only physical detention facility established in the county by the official sources reviewed. It is the primary local booking and detention point. A person may leave for the community, ODOC, another county, USMS, or ICE, so the release entry must identify the manner of exit and any receiving authority.
No ODOC prison, federal prison, ICE detention center, regional jail, or separately documented municipal jail was identified inside Pushmataha County. State and federal systems still matter as later custodians and search routes, not as local buildings. Antlers Police exists, but its official page does not identify a separate long-term jail.
